Wassail Days
Join us Saturday, November 29 through Sunday, December 7 for a festive celebration of winter and the holidays on Main Street in Frisco. Over 50 local businesses serve their own secret-recipe hot spiced cider (“wassail”) — collect samples at 12 stops, fill out your “12 Sips of Wassail” card, and redeem it for a commemorative mug. The week also features tree-lighting + fireworks, Santa visits, holiday shopping with free gift-wrapping and more.

International Snow Sculpture Championships 2026
Experience the international snow sculpting spectacle in downtown Breckenridge from January 24-February 3, 2026 as teams hand-carve 25-ton blocks into stunning works of art using only hand tools, then stroll the Riverwalk Center’s outdoor gallery day or night with free public viewing and illuminated nights.
Winter Carnival & The Lighting of River Run | Keystone
Get ready for a festive, family-friendly kickoff to the winter season at River Run Village in Keystone Resort! On Saturday, November 29th, enjoy live music, a free photo booth, face painting, crafts, hot cocoa and cookies, Santa appearances, and seasonal caroling led by the Summit Choral Society. The highlight of the celebration is the tree lighting at 5:15 PM, turning the village into a winter wonderland. This event is free and open to all—all are welcome to join in the fun.
12th Annual Frisco Turkey Day 5k
Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with the 12th Annual Frisco Turkey Day 5K on Thursday, November 27, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. The fun run/walk starts and finishes at the Old Frisco Community Center (110 S 3rd Ave) and uses the Summit County Recreation Path and Town of Frisco side streets. Dogs (on leash) and strollers are welcome—please note the course may be snowy. Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations benefiting the Family & Intercultural Resource Center of Summit County; proceeds also support the local school’s S.T.E.M. program. Bring your family and friends for a festive, healthy start to the day!
Trick-or-Treat on Main Street | Frisco
Join us Friday, October 31 from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm for a spook-tacular evening on Frisco Main Street (from Madison Avenue to 7th Avenue). The road will be closed to vehicles from approximately 3:00 pm-8:00 pm to make way for safe trick-or-treating. Kids (and grown-ups!) in costumes are invited to stroll the street and visit participating businesses handing out candy. Meanwhile, the Frisco Historic Park joins in with free trackless train rides every 15 minutes from 5:15 pm-6:45 pm. Don’t miss the Halloween Dog Parade hosted by the Summit County Animal Shelter at 5:00 pm (dogs welcome in costume, on-leash).
Día de Muertos 2025
Join us October 17–18, 2025 for Día de Muertos in Breckenridge, a vibrant, family-friendly festival featuring colorful art installations, a community ofrenda, face painting, workshops, live music, dance, and a candlelight vigil under artistic direction by Cal Durán.
