Dillon Marina Opening for Summer 2026: This Memorial Day Weekend

Summer in Summit County is officially around the corner. The Dillon Marina is preparing to open for the 2026 season on Saturday, May 23, just in time for Memorial Day weekend, and locals and visitors alike are ready to get back out on the water.

From boating and paddle boarding to lakeside drinks and mountain views, Dillon Reservoir is one of the best places to spend summer days in the Colorado mountains. This season, visitors can once again enjoy boat rentals, kayak and paddleboard rentals through Stand Up Paddle Colorado, the marina retail shop, launch ramp access, and all of the classic Dillon Marina summer energy.

That said, 2026 will come with a few operational changes due to ongoing drought conditions and fluctuating reservoir levels. Here’s what boaters and visitors should know before heading to the marina this summer.
