Silverthorne STR Regulations
The Town of Silverthorne, Colorado adopted a zoned approach to STR licensing. The zones are as follows:
Area 1: Allows 10% of properties to obtain STR license
Area 2: Allows 50% of properties to obtain STR license
Area 3: Allows 0% of properties to obtain STR license
7/14/2026 UPDATE:
As of July 14, 2026, short-term rental licenses remain available in both Area 1 and Area 2. Waitlists will be established if either area reaches its license cap.
