The Town of Dillon has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed Swan Landing Planned Unit Development (PUD) for Tuesday, November 17, 2026. The hearing will give community members an opportunity to share their perspectives as Town Council considers the development plan.
Ordinance No. 06-26, Series of 2026, addresses the Swan Landing PUD Development Plan and a proposed boundary amendment to the Dillon Ridge Marketplace PUD. Council approved the ordinance on first reading at its October 20 meeting. The proposal remains subject to further consideration.
Why the Hearing Date Changed
The hearing was initially scheduled for November 3. Before adjourning the October 20 meeting, Council moved it to November 17 because of an already substantial November 3 agenda and the national election. The change allows additional time for Council’s consideration and public participation.
How to Share Your Comments
Community members can participate in the public hearing or submit written comments in advance to Town Clerk Adrienne Stuckey at townclerk@townofdillon.com.
To help staff and Council organize submissions, the Town suggests:
Sending comments as a PDF.
Keeping comments to approximately two to three pages.
Including your name with your submission.
Referencing “Ordinance No. 06-26, Series of 2026” in the email subject line.
These are suggested guidelines, not mandatory requirements or restrictions on participation.
The Town’s published public-comment guidance states that electronic comments must be submitted by 1 p.m. on the meeting day. These comments are provided to Council and entered into the record rather than read aloud during the hearing.
Where to Find Meeting Details
The Town will provide meeting materials and participation details through its official agendas page. Check there before the hearing for the meeting time, location, participation instructions, and any schedule updates.
For Dillon residents and property owners following local development, the hearing offers an opportunity to review the proposal and provide input directly to Town Council.
