Unincorporated Park County STR Rules

Unincorporated Park County includes all areas outside of incorporated towns and cities.

Park County is currently reviewing proposed updates to its short-term rental (STR) regulations, including potential caps, waitlists, and additional restrictions. As of April 7, 2026, two draft ordinances are in circulation and available as public record.

All short-term rental operators must comply with the County’s licensing requirements, as outlined in the Park County STR Application (see links below).
