Frisco Short-Term Rental Rules

The Town of Frisco adopted an STR license cap which limits the number of licenses issued to a total of 25% of the housing stock. Frisco reached their cap on 2/23/2023. Home owners can join a waitlist now that 25% of the housing stock has an STR license in Frisco (900 licenses).

UPDATE 5/1/2024: As of 5/1/2024 there are 41 applicants on the Frisco short-term rental waitlist. The town of Frisco currently estimates the waitlist length to be 9+ months from the time of application submission to approval of new license.
