Dillon STR Regulations
Properties located within the Town of Dillon require a short-term rental license, and the Town currently does not restrict the number of STR licenses issued.
• STR licenses expire annually on May 31 and must be renewed through MuniRevs.
• The annual STR license fee is $700. Parking permit requirements and fees for STR guests have been discontinued.
• STR licenses are non-transferable.
• Maximum occupancy is limited to 2 guests per bedroom plus 2 additional guests per property.
• All STR advertising must display both the property’s STR license number and its approved maximum occupancy.
One important buyer note: a Dillon mailing address does not necessarily mean a property is within Town limits. Dillon Valley, Keystone, Summerwood and Summit Cove are in unincorporated Summit County and follow different STR regulations.
